Hey everybody. Very roughly this time last year, there was a big-ass hurricane comin’ up the east coast, and wasn’t too bad. Sure, had to bail water outta the basement for several hours, but nothing broke and there power and internet. And this year, a bigger-ass storm is doing roughly the same thing, except it’s making a bee-line for my state. So this time I may be doing more bailing, that is if the duct tape adapter connecting the garden hose extension to the wet-vac fails.

What’s the point of this? Well one, I’m feelin’ uneasy about it. Two, I want to ask if anyone knows if connecting a garden hose to a much larger hose by means of whatever’s lying around and some water proof tape will work.
